Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amโ9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (847) 328-6666. This was a perfect little Chinese restaurant. I got sesame chicken and lo mein, and it was delicious. Amazing atmosphere. The price was amazing for the giant portions they gave us. They also have the cutest to go boxes!!

Absolutely terrible customer service. The short chinese man working at the front counter was one of the rudest employees I have ever dealt with. From the moment I walked in, he acted like helping customers was a burden. Every question was met with attitude, dismissive responses, and an unfriendly tone. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but there is no excuse for treating paying customers with such disrespect. His behavior completely ruined the experience and left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome. If you donโt want to interact with customers or provide basic courtesy, then working at the front counter is probably not the right job. The food may be decent, but customer service is a huge part of any restaurant experience, and this was unacceptable. Management should seriously address this issue because no customer should have to deal with this level of rudeness. Based on this experience, I have no desire to return and would not recommend this place to others.

Good place, looks nice and clean inside. The meat is gummy, low quality and has an odd taste even with all the spices. The good part is that, the staff is friendly and ready to help. There is plenty of parking spaces and a gas station in the same parking lot.

The food was disgusting. I ordered pad Thai and it soggy. Why is it colored red? Also they used pho noodles instead of pad Thai noodles, it was the lunch special with chicken and shrimp portion and it came with ONE shrimp. I also ordered salt and pepper squid and it was the smallest portion Iโve ever seen. It was also SUPER SALTY. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALSO QUESTIONABLE, THEY RUB ME THE WRONG WAY.

5+5๐ cleanliness and friendliness. I have to admit, Chef will accommodate. When you go in, you'll swear Chef popped out of a martial arts action flick. Mr. Miyagi meets Jackie Chan, I'm not kidding! ๐คผ The staff was wonderful. The food was excellent, extremely fresh, the walnut and honey shrimp had huge walnut halves and not just a couple. The honey sauce was thick. The cucumber salad was delicious and fresh. My pot stickers were fried and gigantic. Very delicious. My sesame beef was done to perfection, and There was no skimping on the accoutrements. I also had a freshly made strawberry smoothie to go with my dinner. My wife also had the lemon tea which was amazing!๐ฃ๐ฅ๐๐ฅ The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. Everything was extremely clean. ๐ Do yourself a favor and set down and relax with some really really good food and conversation. Because of Chef, and food quality, I would say Little wok in Evanston is a destination! ๐
